The City-God Temple's Nighttime Procession (Japanese and English Interpretation)

Jun 8th, 17:00~20:00
It's said that the City God sends his two guards, known as the Seventh and Eighth Lord, to procession his district during the night on May 11th on the lunar calendar. The procession route is divided into the north and south, which are paraded by the Eight Infernal Generals and Dao-jian's Eight Major Groups respectively. On that night, the two guards must keep vigil over the Dadaocheng and Dalongdong area. For this remarkable event, we've invited De-gen Yin, a famous blogger for his knowledge of temple fairs, to give a talk about Xiahai City-God Temple's nighttime procession, distinguishing the daytime costumes from the nighttime for patrolmen. After the talk, he will give you a tour where the event is actually taking place.
