The First Record Store is located across the famous First Theater. In the past, its business would soar, whenever there was a new movie. The store was frequented by Djs and singers. It was one of the best places not only for purchasing recorded music but also spotting celebrities. Today no longer can the record store live by selling vinyl records, cassettes, or CDs. But its owner Chin-hsiang Li and his daughter, Ling-ling Li, still preserve those good old records, posters, and songs. Ms. Li will share her memories about the First Record Store and some classic Taiwanese songs in this session.
