Dadaocheng has been known for the wholesale business, since so many merchants from north to south came to this place with their products to trade on purpose. Among the shops, Tian-Shan Shop has distinguished itself for selling sauces of major brands at wholesale prices. In recent years, its second generation owner, Chia-an Chou, has helped his father transform the traditional store into an ingredients-importing agent, against the impacts of hypermarkets and the change in eating habits.
