It's said that the City God sends his two guards, known as the Seventh and Eighth Lord, to procession his district during the night on May 11th on the lunar calendar. The procession route is divided into the north and south, which are paraded by the Eight Infernal Generals and Dao-jian's Eight Major Groups respectively. On that night, the two guards must keep vigil over the Dadaocheng and Dalongdong area.
